Q: When will my package arrive?
A: We will do our best to get you order processed and sent out as soon as
possible. In-stock merchandise is generally shipped within 2 or 3 days after
an order has been placed. Standard Ground delivery of shipments depends on delivery
location and season. The Iowa Hawk Shop does have Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air
shipping options for an additional charge.
Q: How can I find out the tracking number for my order?
A: If you supplied us with an email address when making an order, you will receive
a confirmation email from us when the package is sent out. This confirmation
email will include your tracking number. If you have not supplied us with an
email address while ordering, please call us at 1-800-HAWK SHOP to speak to one
of our sales representatives.
Q: How do I cancel my order?
A: Please call the Iowa Hawk Shop at 1-800-HAWK SHOP as soon as possible so that
one of our sales representatives can be of assistance.
Q: What if I receive my order, but I would like a different size, color, or am
simply not satisfied?
A: Each package will include a gold packing slip with a complete set of instructions
on how to return the package to the Hawk Shop as well as our return policy. If
you have misplaced this gold return slip or one was not included with your order,
please write a brief letter explaining the problem and the course of action you
would like us to take. Mail this letter along with your associated products to:

Q: I have placed an order via hawkshop.com, but would like to make a change to
my order. What is the best way to make order changes?
A: Please call the Iowa Hawk Shop at 1-800-HAWK SHOP as soon as possible so that
one of our sales representatives can make the necessary changes. Do not attempt
to place a replacement order over the Internet or a double order may inadvertently
be placed, if not caught in time.
Q: What are my options if the merchandise I desire is not available?
A: In the case that you order a product that is out of stock, we will automatically
place your request on backorder. If you ordered other merchandise, you will be
notified which items from your order are on backorder. Once the manufacturer
sends us your product, we will ship your order immediately. The Iowa Hawk Shop
will never charge you until the point that your product has actually been shipped
from our warehouse. To cancel a backorder please call us at 1-800-HAWK SHOP,
email us at hawkshop@uiowa.edu, or fax us at (319) 337-4606.
If the color option you ordered is not available, the Iowa Hawk Shop may substitute
the same product in another color coordination. We will never send you a product
substitution that has a different size than you originally ordered. If the substituted
product is not desired, please send it back to the Iowa Hawk Shop and you will
be completely reimbursed for all charges incurred.
In some cases items in our catalog may be discontinued by the manufacturer. If
this happens you will be notified immediately.
Q: Are items from the previous catalog still available?
A: A much wider selection of products can be found on hawkshop.com than in the
annual merchandise catalog. Some items from previous catalogs are still available
for purchase on hawkshop.com. If the item from a previous catalog for which you
are searching cannot be found in the newest annual catalog or online at hawkshop.com,
then the item has been discontinued.
Q: I saw an item in the store that I cannot find on the web site. Can I still
order it?
A: Yes. We are more than happy to do a manual order for items found in one
of our physical store locations. Please call 1-800-HAWK SHOP to place such
an order. It is important to be as descriptive as possible when describing
the item(s) to our sales representatives so that we can correctly fulfill your
order.
Q: Can I find every item you offer on the sales floor of your retail locations?
A: Unfortunately, we do not have enough space to carry every item on the sales
floor of our retail locations. However, our sales associates will be happy
to assist you in finding the items for which you are looking.
Q: Can I purchase customized merchandise from the Hawk Shop?
A: You can order customized Hawkeye merchandise by clicking on the Custom Hawk
Shop link on the front page of hawkshop.com. However, it is not possible to
put individual players names or numbers on merchandise.
Q: Why can’t I purchase my Official Iowa Hawk Shop and Custom
Hawk Shop at the same time?
A: The Custom Hawk Shop is an out-source service of the Official Iowa Hawk
Shop. Club Colors is the outside company which runs the custom merchandise
website. Therefore, purchasing custom Hawkeye merchandise has to be done separately
on the Custom Hawk Shop site. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Q: Does the Hawk Shop carry past year’s athletics posters?
A: Sorry, we only carry the most recent athletics posters.
